Paul John Gascoigne, affectionately known as 'Gazza' was the most gifted midfielder of his generation. Most famous in his International career for crying after being yellow carded in the 1990 World Cup Semi Final against Germany where England finished 4th. He also helped England reach the semi finals of Euro '96 where he scored a famous goal against Scotland. At club level he played for Newcastle his boyhood club before a move to Tottenham where he won the FA Cup in 1991. His big move was top Lazio in 1992 where he spent 3 years before moving back to Rangers. In the latter part of his career suffered a number of personal struggles but will be always be remembered as a legend by England fans.
