Milan – San Remo was first run in 1907 and is regarded as one of the ‘monument’ pro cycle races. Held over a 300km course that has changed little since it’s first edition, it is a firm favourite amongst riders and fans. Also know as ‘La Classicissima’, it shares legendary status in cycle racing with the like of the Paris – Roubaix and Paris – Nice events.
